Algolab Photo Vector is a handy, powerful and reliable application that enables you to convert raster pictures to vector images. It doesn’t only convert the formats of the files, from typical raster photos like BMP, JPEG, PNG, or GIF, to vector formats supported by various CAD/CAM systems, like DXF, DWG, DWF, EMF, WMF, etc. but it also allows “vectorizing” the images. In other words, it also prepares the converted images to be suitable for being used as vector images within CAD/CAM systems. It creates vector color images composed of outlines from your original raster photos. It does that by reducing the number of the colors from the original photos, by detecting and enhancing outlines, and by cleaning superfluous elements. In the end, it applies powerful vectorization techniques to completely transform the photos into vector images suitable for being used with all kinds of design and drawing systems. Algolab Photo Vector is especially useful at cleaning up and converting scanned designs like fabrics, mats, textures, vinyls, and so on.
Though it might seem like a complicated tool suitable only to be used by professionals and experienced users, Algolab Photo Vector is in fact simple and easy-to-use. Its interface is self-explanatory and straightforward, streamlining the conversion and processing tasks.
To sum it all up, there aren’t many tools that have the same main functionality as Algolab Photo Vector, and this makes it even more attractive. It’s an easy-to-use tool that creates quality results and works like a charm.
